about

This is a collection of older home recordings. Experimental creations made between 1999 and 2012...mostly from hands on 8 track or 16 track recordings (back when twiddling knobs was the way to record). A lot of this came from older self releases that are now obsolete. There is a lot of stuff here. Cinematic, post-rock, ambient, lo-fi, dark folk, progressive rock, shoegaze and dream pop. This compilation is progress through sound. It is far from perfect. As a matter of fact it is full of production flaws...but there are some nice gems here. Mile Davis once said "In music...there are no rules"...That always stuck with me. Mistakes can become something special when you let them age. These songs reflect that. I havent heard a lot of this stuff for a bit and in re-visting it I managed to hear it from another perspective. If it were not for these recordings I would not be where I am now. I hope you enjoy it.
